I don’t actually consider myself much of a pink/purple sort of person, but you’d never know it from my Sheep & Wool loot.

I spent several lovely hours at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. It is one of my favorite things about living near Baltimore. The first animals I saw were English angora bunnies. They were the cutest freaking bunnies you’ll ever see. They were so soft and I wanted to take them all home.
Then of course, there were alpacas, which I love with a neverending devotion. Sigh. Greatest ever.
Knitted wedding ring by Dafna Schwimmer Dagan on Etsy.
no seriously, omygosh. This is truly a thing of beauty. As any kind of ring, not just a wedding band. I know I use this expression a lot but I mean it this time…OMG. wow. just, wow.
OMG ducky sweaters?!

I usually avoid group situations and places where I’m forced to meet new people but two weeks ago I discovered that there’s a center nearby that holds ASL classes and I figured it was too good an opportunity to pass up. Last night was our first class and even though it’s super scary when you’re signing and literally the entire class is watching you, I’m so glad I’m doing this.

Accidentally letting it slip to my sweetie that I already have wedding registries and baby registries set up (we’re neither engaged nor trying to have babies)…
Clearly my professor is a fan of Joss Whedon and Farscape. She has excellent taste.
And obviously Giles would have his MLIS as a librarian
I’m trying to imagine Mal and Jayne working in a library but it’s just not happening.
